I've been using various versions of AppleWorks, from v3 to v5.1, to print
to a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet IIp+, and have been doing so for years.

AppleWorks is an amazingly expandable program, and the key to printing to a
laser printer lies in the fact that you can set up a Custom Printer. You
can simply transfer all those PCL codes listed in your printer's manual to
the AW Custom Printer setups.

But, that's re-inventing the wheel.

Shareware Solutions II is currently distributing all of the AppleWorks
resource disks that were created and/or distributed by, the National
AppleWorks User Group (NAUG). One of those resources is "The NAUG Printer
Disk." That disk contains printer specifications for more than 100
different printers; simply copy the SEG.ER file from the NAUG disk to your
AppleWorks disk, make any changes necessary for your particular interface
card, and voila...you're printing to a LaserJet.

In it's continuing effort to lower the cost of available Apple II
resources, Shareware Solutions II has combined all the various NAUG Printer
Disks into one, and that 3.5" disk now offers custom printer set-ups for
AppleWorks v3, v4.x and 5.x.  Best of all, it costs only $5, which includes
