Now wait a second. You have a Mac. A Power Mac at that.
They have the 486 cards in them.
And you want to run Windows Internet software on them.
I've seen this question come up before; I was helping a large
company get set up with their Internet connection, and found that
one department had Power Macs with dos cards, and their boss wanted
them to run Trumpet Winsock. This is a bad idea for several reasons.
1) More than likely, it won't work.
2) If it does work, it'll be slower and flakier than the Mac versions
running natively.
3) If you wanted a PC, you could have gotten one much cheaper.
You have a Power Mac, which is a perfectly nice computer. So why not
use it? You'll save yourself many headaches.
