The Grappler is normally a parallel interface card.
There is however a serial Grappler.
A DB-25 (F) connector "inplies" that it is likely a serial card.
They are made by Orange Micro.
If you give more details, I can be of more help.
I have the docs for the Grappler and Grappler +.
