If I understand you correctly, you have both an Apple IIGS and
a PC,presumably in the same room.
If that is true, you are probably looking for Crossworks, which
is sold by Quality Computers (800)777-3642. It includes
software for the Apple II and the PC, and a cable that will
go from any PC to any Apple II. It costs about $70, but does
a good job of translating files. The downside is that it
only translates old file formats: AW V3.0 and earlier, and
on the PC side, Wordperfect 4.2 and Lotus v.??. Still, any
modern WP or spreadsheet should be able to load those old formats.
