They CHARGED you?  They gave it to me for free after I complained a little
bit.  2.01 is the latest, changes the 2.0 splash to say 2.01, and I think
that's about it -- it still doesn't fix a LOT of bugs (like the really
annoying one with text only being allowed to be typed at the bottom of the
window... strange...)

If I were you, I'd ask for my money back.  I don't see PP being upgraded
in the near future, if at all (which I highly doubt it ever will be). 
Platinum Paint could have been great, but they only added a few new
features (the sound option being worthless since its the only program that
supports it) and charged an outrageously high price for the upgrade.

But to answer your question, the latest and probably last version is 2.01.
