I recently got an apple ///+ for my disk ///... well, I have a /// also
that the disk /// was on.. anyway, when inspecting the internal drive
on the ///+, I noticed that the Db25 <or 23, or however many pins there
are> jack is wired to a ribbon cable inside, which leads up to the
controller board. On that board it plugs into a port exactly like the
external port on the ///, which the disk /// ribbon fits into. I can
not confirm that these are identical ports though. There is also a
second connector on the controller, so I wonder if you could plug the
disk /// into the second plug, inside the machine, and not have to
disconnect the external port.
Anyone know for sure?
