Editing AppleWorks Dictionary?

Is there any way to _delete_ words from the MAIN DICTIONARY in AppleWorks?
Yes, I know one can add and delete words to the CUST.DICTIONARY, but I'd
like to delete words from the MAIN.  Sure, I can add words like COLOUR to
the custom dictionary, but the word COLOR still shows up as correct.  I
don't want that to happen.  Can I delete COLOR and other such words from the
main dictionary?

I would like to "Canadianise" my AppleWorks disctionary.
