"Print" to slot 3 in AppleWorks?

Is tehre any way to "print" to slot 3 in AppleWorks 5.x?  I know you can 
specify the "Print to Screen" -- but that sets the page length to a screen 
length.  I'd like to specify the layout for a real printer, with appropriate 
page lengths, but "preview" it first on the screen.  Of course, AppleWorks 
printer setup doesn't give you the option of specifying slot 3.  Is there a 
way around that?  Or even specify to slot 0 (40 columns)?
