sure it can be done, physically.  but the fileserver software for the GS
is not available.  You CAN network to the Mac.  

If you just need to connect via Appletalk and let it go at that point,
AppleTalk is built into the IIGS.  Other sources of workstation cards for
the IIe... try Alltech Electronics or A+ Technologies
