PIZZAFEST '96 is back!
Basel (Switzerland), 4/1/96 -- Today, some remaining fat old guys from Bright
Software announced PizzaFest 1996, the coolest Apple ][ event. Compared to
PizzaFest, MacWorld Expo looks like a garden party and KansasFest like a
one-man TV session.
This year's P-Fest features more seminars, things to play with, long drinks and
peanuts than any other P-Fest before. P-Fest is known for its introduction of
entirely new, not so state-of-the-art technologies that turn computer industry
upside down. For example, last year we've released Fast Eddie, the first and
still only fully functional IIGS-on-a-Mac *.
PizzaFest 1996 will offer more mind-boggling attractions for hardcore Apple ][
users. For example:
- a crashing FlameStation prototype...the PUTZ! special edition.
- Join Marc's power session, showing off the fastest IIGS. Experience next
generation performance at 40Mhz!**
- Between seminars, take a seat in the movie hall and have a look at "Total
Recall". Schwarzenegger will show you in this interactive movie how to back up
data, recover damaged disk catalogs and eliminate creatures that may make your
systems less stable.
- Shady launches an early alpha release of HotDoGS, a Java-compatible VT52
terminal emulation software.
- Be prepared for a live e-Kohnference with Joe's cat.
- Cody will demo new client-server programming techniques. His
soon-to-be-announced-don't-hold-your-breath products (tm) ship with flowcharts
only, the actual programming is done by the end-users.
...and much more!
If you want to join the revolution, put $500 in an envelope and drop it next to
my door, ring three times, pause, ring twice, knock 5 times, then sneeze
loudly. Go away.
