Getting you own guys started takes a bit of care. Start with a group
including a couple warriors, a bard, and at least two mages. One of the
best things about BT is that you can swap-in and develop new characters
(e.g. a thief, monk, etc.) from time to time.
For sure, you _must_ keep maps and notes in order to get back to the
Adventurer's Guild when things get rough. It's too easy to end up
wandering around on Night Archer Street at midnight, lost, and low on
hitpoints!
Start with journeys beginning at daybreak and ending back at the AG at
nightfall. This will let you locate some Taverns, shops, and the Review
Board.
Naturally, a beginning party should avoid dungeons and mazes. Collect
experience battling street monsters and pissants lurking in most
buildings.
Be sure to stop at taverns to get info and wet the Bard's lips for
magical spell singing. Check with the RB fairly often to cash in on Level
advances.
Expect a great adventure!
