Tom, I was thinking about this just yesterday. The Apple II was built to last
in a market that wasn't. I've got 16 year old Disk IIs that just won't quit.
II+'s just need their keyboards pulled apart a cleaned once a decade, and
later models only need a little Windex once a year or so. Okay, maybe pull
the cards and clean the edge connectors once every 5 years or so. heh, heh,
it's fun to see my kids playing on computers I bought years before they were
born. Heck, years before I even met their mother, and my son's get'n big!
Scary thought. The day will come when we turn our last Apple II off for that
last time. By then it'll have desrved a rest :)
