Ive got a Zip 7Mhz.  It has 32k but the current chips are too slow so i
would have to replace 64k.  Cant find the company literature but as i
remember they sell it for $49/32k.  Thats a $100 there.  The ASIC  (is 
that the right acronym?) is probably too slow too so would have to be 
upgraded too. And the oscillator.  I would be ex-static to do it for $100 
but it doesnt seem likely to me.

As you implied, the other size memory chips are probably cheaper, but I
asked around for somebody to help last year but i got several very cool
receptions.  I posted this in case anyone is willing.
