	Well, I got my CD-ROM drive from Alltech Electronics and I talked 
to Tony Diaz himself and I'm pretty sure he told me to get the newer ROM 
(I was planning on buying a Rev. D card instead!).  I already did the 
CD-ROM drive swap thing (actually I tried his CD-ROM drive out before he 
did).  It had the same problem (crashing).  Anyway, I'm pretty dead set 
on buying the upgrade chip...it's only like $15 or so.  I like having an 
"up to date" system.  I'll study your post and do some tests though, thanks.
