Well today I finaly got a decent printer. Something happened though while
I was setting it up. I put a Grappler+ printer card in my computer, at the
same time I moved my Zipchip from slot 3 to slot 2. When I turn on my
computer all I got was a checkerboard screen. I looked in the back of the
GS and noticed that the slot I had put the Grappler+ in (slot 1) was
kinda lose and the card had come out of the slot. So I got out my other
GS and put the Zipchip in it and I get the same checkerboard screen. Then
I put the original 65c816 in the spare computer and it worked, but it
wouldn't work in the other computer.
Could I have blown the Zipchip and the motherboard?! I now have the
Grappler+ in this computer and it works good. This is great now I have a
good printer but the Zipchip that I saved for so long won't work! Any one
have any idea what might be going on?! Good thing I had another GS!
Thanks,
jamess
