IBM connect to LaserWrite???

Hi,

I am doing task which is to connect a IBM compatable x86 machine with a Mac LaserWrite IIf. 
According the LaserWrite manuel, surely there is a way to do so. However, I still could not make
them to work. I even called the Apple for technical support, their technician didn't even heard
that a IBM can hook up with a Mac LaserWrite?^$!@# So, I post this note here. I am sure some of you
already have done certian task. All the information and suggestion are welcome!!!
