Well, not meaning to be quarrelsome, but for spreadsheet computation,
etc., AWGS is pretty good, having loads of formulas, etc. However, if you
mean the graphing capabilities, you're right, they suck (no offense to the
AWGS development team at Claris). Yes, Quick Clic Calc is supposed to be a
really good spreadsheeting program with more spreadsheet functions than
AWGS and much better graphing capabilities. It is available from the
people who created it, ByteWorks, for $60. I believe the current version
is 1.1.
Another option is JazGraph which is a shareware program which seems to be
very powerful in the graphing department (but not great in
spreadsheeting)--I don't know though, I haven't really tried it. Also, if
you're only interested in basic spreadsheet formulas, etc., AW 5.1 might
be an option for ya' (especially since it will run faster than any gsos
program).
