With the help of the Hardware Guy on the now defunct AOL A2
forums, I removed my Nite Owl Lithium, which had been acting up, and
soldered two wires that lead out of the case to 3-1.5V "AA" alkalines in
a Radio Shack battery holder. With the Control Panels backed up on the
freeware NDA "Lithium Grease", I change the batteries about once every 12
months. good luck!---it's easy!
