Second Sight is a board that allows you to hook up a VGA or
SVGA monitor to your apple II.  This allows viewing of 
gifs and jpegs with all of their colors at resolutions
up to 1024 by 800 (I think. Don't quote me)

Right now, there is no enhancement for normal apple II
programs, other than the ability to use a 15" monitor, 
but rumor has it someone is patching Quickdraw (on the 
GS) to allow for the greater resolution with regular
GS programs.
