The best way to add ram to a IIe is via the 'Aux' Card in the IIe.  Most
program recognize this memory automatically.  I use a Ramworks III with 1
Mb in my IIe and it works great.  There are also slot 1-7 cards with memory
expansion but they work a little different.  These can be used as ramdisks
to store programs or to store data, but are not accessed by running
programs except to save data in that area.
