Photonix II trouble on GO-CD

Hi,
 I'm having trouble with Photonix II v2.0 on the Golden Orchard  CD-Rom.
I unpacked it to an 800k disk, then when I try to boot it I get the sliding
apple and the message "unable to load Photonix" (or something to that effect).
Anyone know of any problems with either Photonix or with the version on the
GO-CD?

I have a Rom01 GS with 4 megs memory.
