reading 5.25 floppies with a mac SE (help)?

Help!

I want to read my old Apple ][ floppies with a Mac SE. I have an Apple
5.25 drive. I can plug it into my SE. But, unfortunatly, the MacOS
(6.0.5) always asks for initialising the floppy. Then, it is impossible
to make the SE working (because, it always asks for intialising). 

My question is : is it possible to make working an Apple 5.25 drive with 
a mac SE (or a Plus). Do I need an extension or an init for that (and 
where I could find it in FTP)?

I don't need to know how I can translate them from ProDOS to MacOS.
