Platinum Paint Upgrade?

Hey all!
 
I've been doodling around with Platinum Paint 1.0 for a while with some video
projects with my VOC, and I was thinking that the upgrade to 2.0 would be
available. I called Quality Computers... hmm, no upgrade, I gotta pay $60,
damn...
 
Anyway, how much better is 2.0 than 1.0, is there anywhere I can get a copy
(upgraded) for less than $60?
 
Just kinda annoyed...
