HELP!! What is This Thing I Bought?????

I bought an external 5.25" drive today that was made by Apple. 
It has a 37 pin connector and it is labeled on the bottom: 
"Apple PC 5.25 Drive"  There isn't a power connector anywhere, 
so I assume it gets it's power through the 37 pin connector.  
There is also one of those security slots on the back like the 
Mac Classics have.  If anyone knows what this drive is for, 
please post here and email me....
