Insanity indeed. Besides reinventing the wheel (KEGS has a configuration file that works perfectly fine), you do realize its easier to do everything on the "native" side of things vs. within the emulator. All KEGS would need is a configuration file manager (Bernie has this I think). Its not really a priority though.
