There are at least two other ways:
1) a SCSI floptical drive on a SCSI chain
2) a MS-Dos floppy drive attached to a Blue Disk card..
Normal Apple IIgs disk drives can not read MS-DOS disks - something
to do with the way information is written onto the disk that is
hardware (?) incompatible.
