I'd reccomend you leave your //e on 24 hours a day.  I thought this
would damage my precious Apple II, but actually it's better for it,
since power surges (turning it on/on) are what destroy computers and
not leaving them on.

In case your site missed the post, barry.schwarz@techall.wa.com had
the same problem, and a new power supply fixed it.
