Yes, I did connect both the RGB and the SVGA monitors to see what
would happen. The result: the SVGA had the vertical black lines
immediately while the RGB showed the program ( Publish It! 4 ) loading.
It continued to load into memory, however, as soon as I attempted to open
a file, the GS froze ( couldn't even access the CDA,s via Command-Control-
Escape ). I had to warm boot the GS in order to launch another program.
The same occurred when I attempted to launch The Graphic Exchange.
When I removed the SS card and used only the RGB, *both* programs
launched and worked as they should.
Sequential Systems ( Joe ) sent the latest Eprom 1.4 "Beef" and
it is installed on the SS card. BTW, I have a Rom 01, 4MB memory, Apple
HS SCSI card, and a ZipGS ( 7/32 ).
