Vitesse QUICKIE whereabouts?

Hi Folks,

some years I got a Quickie hand held scanner for my GS. In the
mailings the company sent to me for a while they stated, that
there will be a small box to connect it to the SCSI port of a
mac. Here are my questions:
- is Vitesse still in business? email address?
- has such a box ever shown up somewhere? Could I buy one?
- has the software been updated since Ver. 3.0?
- Is there info available how to do the programming for
  the interface?

To answer some possible questions:
- Yes I still have my GS although I use it rarely. Stole its
  excellent keyboard to connect it to my PowerBook 160...
- Why not use it then? Well...
  Unfortunately the Quickie software is inadequate to scan stuff
  in b&w with high resolution, at least as I could find out.
  (The 8-bit software does it, but you can only save screenful...)
