Looking for some cool hyperstacks...
Hello folks,
I just got a used, decked-out ROM 03 IIGS for my kids this Christmas. The
kids are currently playing around with some of the software that came with
the system. But I was wondering if there are any good hyperstacks done
with HyperStudio or HyperCard (along the lines of the classic Star Trek
stacks from a while back) out there that we can get a hold of. I've scoped
out the caltech, grind, and wombat ftp sites but found only
shareware/freeware stuff which, I must say, suck real bad... They were
mostly amateurish, "my 6 year old's first stack" kinda crap. I really hate
these 640 mode stacks which are only rip-offs of sample stacks that came
with HyperStudio and use tons of Roger Wagner clip art...
Right, I know the GS market has been non-existent for a while now, but I
would still like to see some hyperstacks that are a little bit more
sophisticated than the stuff we've seen in recent years. Come on, are you
telling me not one person here uses HS/HC and has done stuff which pushes
these authoring programs to the limit? Hey, I'm not looking for
high-budget CD-ROMs authored with Director or SuperCard... just some
creative stacks which my kids and I can check out on our very own GS
system.
Any help in this matter would be much appreciated. Please email me for
some suggestions.
