Six Pack is a collection of some really great desk accessories and
Finder Extensions written by Bill Tudor. It was published by Quality
finder extra called
'CDEV Alias' that lets you create an alias for CDEV's (guess that's where
at puts a button you can hit right under the
apple to get to your printer cdev, saving a few steps.
 
I like it because you can get to it from inside desktop programs.
 
GS+ also had a make alias on one of their last few issues that let's you put the
 alias icon on the desktop for more than just executable files,
but you can't get to it from inside a program.
