How knows this game?
Hi there!
About 10 years ago I had an Apple II clone and there was one
game on it, that was my favorite game. Unfortunately I forgot
the name of the game, but I am sure that I will remember the
name when I hear it. I'll try to describe it:
The goal of the game was to collect parcels and then to climb to
the top of the screen to come to the next level. My version hat
87 or 89 levels, but there was also an editor for the
levels included, so there may be lots of versions around.
There also were some pursuers in every level, they were somehow
intelligent in that they were running in the direction the
player was.
Each level consisted of bricks, ladders and horizontal poles
(bars) to climb. There were three kinds of bricks, standard
bricks, invisible bricks and very solid bricks.
The player was able to strike holes into the bricks (if they
were on the floor). The pursuers fell into these holes, but the
holes got closed after a few seconds, and the pursuer got free
again. It was not possible to strike holes into the solid
bricks.
I hope that my description is understandable (I'm german
speaking...).
My questions:
Does anybody know the name of this game?
Is it available under DOS or Windows?
Thanks for helping!
