Exactly. I always laugh when friends of mine get $2000 mac's or IBMs
and then see my GS ($45 ThankYouVeryMuch) do the stuff they do _so
much better_! You should see the line of people wanting to use ProTERM
instead of NCSA telnet to check their email, and AppleWorks v5.1?? Wow,
people buy me pizza's so that I let 'em write a paper in AW5.1.

Sounds like someone just bought a PPC604 and heard that the 601's
software wouldn't run as fast as on a 601 ;)

Yes, but you still don't get it. The GS is so much better at doing things
we do every day (Telecommunications, word processing, etc.) than the IBM
or Mac, you lose with a 386/486/x86.

>Hello, this is 1995....

And that's what freaks you guys out. Either:

1) You see our GS, and you go "Man, why can't I do that on my 16MB
Pentium 133? Hmm, maybe I should add more memory"

		or

2) "hahah your GS sux" (ie. you haven't done this little test I love to
	-infuriate Mac owners with:
Hold up an external modem to the screen, and watch the
delay between when the modem stops receiving data ("RD"
light goes off) and when their screen is updated
	-infuriate IBM owners with:
Scroll back about 4MB of buffer in ProTERM. 'Nuff said.

hahahahahahhahahahahahahah that's pretty funny, ya know? :)

Have you ever had a frosty ice-cold _bottle_ of CocaCola? I think it
tastes 10x better than the cans today. Gee, I wonder how old they are ?:)
Oh, by the way, I drive a Killer '69 VW Squareback :)

I've played those games, and I think they are awesome (ever played
Virtual Fighter on a SegaSaturn with a Bigscreen TV? I have, and
my thumb is still killing me :) ). I just hate it when ppl diss
my GS. Most people who are GS freaks don't just have a GS, we
also have other computers. I hope I didn't sound too negative about
Mac's or IBM's (hey my friend's got a PPC w/192MB RAM and 2Gig Hammer
HD w/PhotoShop, and it's kinda kewl!), but I just personally prefer
my GS for the stuff I do _day to day_. When I want to kick back
and play some games, I bust out DOTW's "DOTW" or go to my friends
Super Nintendo.

In conclusion, I think that all computers are cool. Some are cool
for some stuff, and others are cool for other stuff. The Apple IIGS
just happens to excel in the stuff I do on a day to day basis.
