Ahah! The pahntom 5.25" drive is a known GSOS bug. There's a couple of ways I
know of to get rid of it. First, make the 5.25" driver inactive (select
Inactive from the Icon Info dialog), but then you loose acces to the drive
from GSOS. The other is to make sure your Finder Preferences are set to check
your 5.25" drives on startup. This way the Finder will actually look for your
drives when it starts up. If the clattering bothers you just leave a
formatted disk in the drive. I leave a disk in the drive called Scratch.Pad,
and that's what I use it for :)
