Re: PowerPC Mac's Dont like 800k disks!!

With all the recent talk about Macs and 800k disks and bug fixes for
HFS.FST, I have a question...

I've formatted exactly one 3.5" 800k disk as an HFS disk. I copied a GIF
graphic to that, and brought the disk in to my printer, popped it into his
Mac 880AV, and was rudely informed by the Mac Finder that the disk was
unreadable. However, upon running PhotoShop, that recognized the disk and
even saw that there was a GIF graphic on the disk, but it couldn't load it
in. When I got home and verified the disk on my GS, it was fine.

So...will this recent bug-fix allow disks formatted on a GS to be read on
a Mac...or was my problem just an isolated event?
