Basic Progs

I was wondering if anyone still has any old COMPUTE! magazines. If so 
could someone look for an about a terminal program for the apple II.
I think it was written in assembly(using the nifty MLX utility prog!)
I could swear it was a conversion of a program originally written for
the atari and commodore 8-bits.

If its a pipe dream! Does anyone know of the existence of a terminal program
written in BASIC or assembly for the apple from and FTP site or another
magazine.

WHy am I so interested in obtaining this? I need a something to transfer 
some apple related progs from my PC to my apple. I have only a DOS 3.3 disk.

So if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it....
