I did a search once for Apple II packet software. Unfortunately, I was
NOT impressed by what I found. The only package I found required that
I turn the interrupts OFF on the serial card, otherwise it crashed.
This doesn't say a whole lot about the programmer who wrote it,
considering that turning interrupts off in software is trivial, and
actually using them makes for a much more reliable program.
 
I don't know about using Warp 6 as a packet BBS system. As far as I know,
Warp 6 requires special drivers for the modem interface. Somehow I doubt
that anyone has written an interface driver for a TAPR TNC :-( I seem to
recall that there were several BBS packages written in Applesoft. It
might be easier to modify one of those than to get a driver for Warp 6.
 
  Just out of curiosity, would your BBS be allowing multiple connections?
If you do, you might have to write the software yourself. I don't know of
any Apple II software that would support that.
 
All that said, I have to admit that I am far from an expert at what Apple
software there is out there. If you do find any worthwhile Apple II
packet radio software out there, could you let me know? I have a couple
of spare IIe computers at home looking for something to do :-)
