I've been using a teleport gold II modem for about 1 year on my GS No real problems using spectrum with the modem. You do have to use "AT&F1" as your initialization string though. When I use ansiterm, the modem doesn't recognize the at command to hang-up. I haven't figured out why yet. I'll keep trying. I have no complaints, and get good performance. -sean
