I know what you mean!  There seem to be people with nothing better to do than
harass others with good intentions. I have recived your Apple II Survival
Manual and it has been most helpful.  I've purchsed from one of your
advertisers - one who I wouldn't ha
ve heard of if I didn''t see your guide.
 
People like you help to make it possible for us Apple II people to keep our
sanity in this world of Power PCs and Windoze 95 (that'll be obsolete in 23
days - as 1996 is a-comin'!).
 
I run a poetry magazine similar in size (and on newsprint) to your manual.  I
offered free copies to educators in rec.arts.poems and had this person
harassing me, sending letters to the delphi sysop, et al. I asked her if she
would like a free copy (no poe
t would refuse a free literary magazine!) and she said no thanks.
I asked her if she were a poet. She replied no. Then I asked her why she was in
rec.arts.poems. She didn't reply to that.
 
It seems there are just some people out there with nothing better to do and who
watch "Cops" and wanna play policeman.
 
Some people can't differentiate between sincere postings to the Usenet that
actually have a value to the group and those that are 1-900-xxx xxxx or for
some herbal recipe...
