   Given that X is a bloated memory hog (hint: probably 10-25MB for
the core distribution, which would be a buttload of source code),
written in C (no decent GS compiler exists, unfortunately), I'd say
that you'd be better off writing a thing from scratch, and then you
_might_ be able to get it partway working.

   Linux, a unix clone for PCs pretty much requires that you have at
least 8MB ram before running X, 16 is strongly recommended. But, those
numbers don't count swap, which the GS cannot do. Thus, once again,
the sheer size would probably overwhelm the GS without any problems.
