Please do not use all caps in the title, your message, or anyplace
else unless absolutely necessary. It's the internet equivalent of
shouting, and darn annoying. Lots of exclamation points don't do
anything to make people read it, just more likely to dismiss it as
something not worth their time.

Further, please learn what newsgroups are for what. This was
originally posted to comp.sys.apple2.gno, a newsgroup for the IIGS
GNO/ME multitasking environment. Questions as to downloading are
completely offtopic. The last time you posted this thing, you sent a
copy to all of the Apple II newsgroups, showing your ignorance of what
newsgroups are for, and what topics should be discussed in them.

For reference, this followup to your post has been sent to both
comp.sys.apple2 and comp.sys.apple2.gno (in case you are only reading
that), but all subsequent posts (from a newsreader that has been properly
programmed) will go only to comp.sys.apple2.

For future reference, general Apple II questions should be sent to
comp.sys.apple2, and stuff relating to communications should be sent
to comp.sys.apple2.comm. If you wish to send the same post to both,
learn to crosspost, in which all of the newsgroups you wish to post to
are listed, separated by commas, in the header field of the one post
you do send. By crossposting, people read the post only once wherever
it first shows up, not multiple times.

Next, you have stated that you are using proterm on the Apple II
side, but have given no other information that could possibly help
other figure out what your problem. What system are you trying to
download from, what kinds of files, what protocols have you used, and
what error messages were displayed, if any. If you did understand all
of the terms in the previous sentence, ask your local sysadmin for
help, not the whole world.

Finally, your .signature is 20 lines long, and annoying as heck. I
do not care as to what your email address is; it's properly given in
the news or email header. Don't advertise your age (or lack thereof),
people are more likely to dismiss you. Nobody cares as to whether your
home page is "under construction" or other random info when this info
is attached to a posting having nothing to do with your home page.
Please try and keep your .signature to the internet netettiquette
standard of no more than 4 lines, 75 columns per line. For an example
of that, see mine.
