Re: GS Stereo Card - Available
I plan to keep looking at what can be done to improve the card and I would like to produce one that is slotless, taking power directly from the power connector via some form of buggy back connector. Well infact i have already done that with the laptop version...
Upto a 6 months ago I had no idea how to get a circuit made. I would like to think that I might be able to get to a stage where everything is surface mounted making the board very small and allowing it to plug directly to the molex socket. Though part of me still likes the more traditional card being slotted and a backplate
I had thought about using the fan power connector but would need a voltage reg to take the 12v to 5v and someway to get a negatve voltage from the postive (Bill G has infact already given me a guide on how to do that ).
Now I have achieved my first goal anything is possible now lol
