The pinout information is useful but I need a little more info about the
latch and data lines.
My guess is that you cannot use the DB-9 connector (because it only
accepts digital inputs). However, the 16-pin game port DIP on the
motherboard also provides 4 digital outputs (the annunciator lines).
I'm assuming they are sending the data in a serial fashion so it would
be useful to know the rate at which it is sent or how the latch line
interacts with the data.
I'm glad to hear that someone is thinking about playing with a PowerGlove
on an Apple II. I'm not much of a game person but I like to tinker with
stuff. The PowerGlove is on my list but not near the top :( due to funds
and free time.
