Your conclusions are wrong, I'm afraid. The only software for the Apple
II's that support this scanner consists of a driver in the system
software and a half-completed application on one of the hard-to-find
developer CDs.
Many people have asked about such software, and I'm sure many, including
myself, have contemplated writing it, but it hasn't happened yet,
unfortunately.
And no, neither your Quickie software nor InWords will work with the
Apple scanner.

Well, that is one positive thing. I do believe, if the software was
written, your SCSI card would work fine.
