Apple II emulator/hardware for PC?

I used to have an Apple ][ plus, an Apple //e, and an Apple IIgs prototype,
but I sold them all in the late 80's and I'm missing some of my old games 
and am getting nostalgic...

Please email your responses, and I may end up just buying an old system,
but...

Are there software emulators for the PC that anyone's written (commercial 
or shareware/freeware) that will emulate the Apple II environment?  I know
they've got some Mac emulators, but since the II environment was simpler, 
I though by now, someone would have written it...

I dearly miss my old systems.  Please help.
