My one works fine on an Apple High-speed SCSI card.

As long as you don't remove the cartridge, the computer should treat
it just like a hard drive.

If you do want to change cartridges, you need a SCSI card and/or
drivers that know about removable hard drives.  The RamFast and Apple
High-Speed SCSI cards are fine, but the original Apple SCSI card's
firmware does not support this (if you swap the cartridge, the
partition table will not be re-read, and you run a very high risk of
destroying the data on the new cartridge).

The original Apple SCSI card can support cartridge swapping under
GS/OS, because the GS/OS drivers bypass the firmware.  However, it is
probably not safe to enter ProDOS-8 after swapping the cartridge,
unless you reboot first.

The CMS SCSI card may be more limited: it is probably not safe to
swap cartridges at all, unless you reboot.
