Some of the earlier ROM 01's had BOTH connectors on the motherboard
(check yours). If not, I beleive it should still have the solder pads and
all you would need to do is install the connector on the motherboard to
use a //e power supply without hacking up any wires.
The //e power supply should work fine in the GS. Afterall, the upgrade
motherboards (gs in a //e case) didn't come with GS powersupplies.
