Actually the program mentioned as 'Switcher' is named 'Switch It' and it's
a commercial product from Procyon, I believe, as best I recall.  It's
still available for ordering from them also, I think!).  There is also the
original and first released freeware version of the multi-tasking program
'MultiGS' from Dave Swanson, a team member of our 1WSW group, (now updated
and available as v2.0 - it's a shareware).

The old and hard-to-find freeware (cdev) program from Alan L. Byrd,
'Multilaunch' v0.1, first released in 1992, is also available and I'll be
featuring 'Multilaunch' v0.1 - in the 'GS WorldView' EZine,  RareWares
section, to be released on 11-14-95, as both html document format and text
only, via our 1WSW web site the URL Follows:

You can also find the text only version of 'GS WorldView', Vol. 1 Number
1,
available as 'GSWVT1.SHK' on both caltech and Grind Apple2 ftp sites, on
11-14-95 or shortly there after, depending on when those ftp sites make it
available - after its upload to them.
