I formatted a new SCSI quantum drive on a Rom01 with an Apple High Speed
SCSI card. I loaded system 6.0.1 onto it, tested it, no problems.
I took the SCSI drive to another Rom01 with a RamFast 3.01f. It does not
recognize a SCSI device. I tried the same thing on a Rom03 with a
RamFast 3.01e. It does not recognize a SCSI device.
I took the drive to a MAC and reformatted it into 1 partition. I ran
block tests, etc., and no problems were reported. It worked properly on
the MAC.
I brought it back to the IIGSs. The RamFasts did not recognize a SCSI drive.
The Apple High Speed SCSI didn't at first recognize a SCSI device, but
did with a reboot and then reformatted it to ProDOS. The RamFasts still
do not recognize a SCSI device.
Is there _anything_ someone can suggest for me to do to get the RamFast
to recognize the hard drive so that I can format it for use on them?
What am I doing wrong?
TIA
