I wrote a crude AppleSoft program to do this, called UnImage Pro (the Pro
is a joke) that runs under ProDOS 8. Its only requirement is that you
have a 5.25" drive and that the .DSK file be mounted on an available
ProDOS volume. I think it's at ftp://cco.caltech.edu; if you can't find
it I can e-mail it to you. I was going to rewrite it in assembly but
never bothered; if you want to write a better one I'd be happy to tell you
what's entailed (not much). I hear there's a better one out now, but I
don't know; try reading the comp.emulators.apple2 FAQ (available at
ftp://rtfm.mit.edu somewhere).
